The student and youth political leaders from around the world constitute the rest of the Team of Delegates. The Delegates are handpicked from around the world on their merits-of-service to their constituents. Each Delegate is assigned a task the way programs are developed in accordance with the SDGs. A focus will be given to gender and national representation, as programming meant to have a global impact would ideally be developed by a diverse and global team. Fitting with the theme of the International Day, we would also propose a youth-focus among this theme, with those aged 21- 35 years making the majority. Taken together, this team would be comprised of four categories:
The most profound and active category, these will serve as the backbone of the research and program planning carried out within the Master Plan. They are all either elected or selected among the student leaders of academic institutions, handpicked from around the world.
POLITICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL DELEGATES
This is more socially and active delegates. These are the generally young professional representatives from organizations that include nonprofits, government agencies, youth political organizations, and so on. Most of the delegates are elected leaders into the political office or to governments.
By far the smallest group, these are young and upcoming celebrities from film, music, sports, and other sectors, who will raise the awareness and profile of the IDE and related programs.
This includes members are young individuals drawn from the corporate sector, as well as corporate sponsors who have signed on to assist with the implementation of the Master Plan.
Academic institutions have a vital role to play in the successful implementation of The Master Plan, both as the structural connection between students and the United Nations and as established actors of global progress. With this in mind, Collegiate Congress makes a point to value and credit every academic institution equally. It has nonetheless intended to develop approximately 40-50 special Academic Partnerships based upon geographic distribution and student enrollment. These institutions would serve an integral participant in The Master Plan and the implementation of the U.N. International Day of Education.
The specific expectations of the Academic Partners can be divided based upon timing if implementation; one the official International Day of Education, and on a flexible, rolling basis. Importantly, the labor and logistics involved in organizing and conducting the following would be provided by Collegiate Congress in the form of the Team of Delegates of The Master Plan.
The Chief Delegates are part of the Team of Delegates. They are elected political leaders, globally known; celebrities, sportsperson, artists, and entrepreneurs. They are assigned particular tasks with the Fundamental Objectives pertaining to their interest. They help in the promotion of the Master Plan and also help in guiding the Delegates.
